Photographer turned filmmaker that still gets the privilege of doing photoshoots

I'm a firm believer that everyone should have photos of themselves that they love. In a world where many people are chronically online, we see stunning portraits of other people often—whether it's a celebrity/influencer, one of your best friends, or someone you met once. And we have a tendency to compare. We've all been there; we have someone snap a picture of us on a night out and then we see the photo. And we're immediately disappointed. We notice all of our flaws that no one else will ever notice and we dissect the photos with anxiety and self-loathing. What if I tell you that your body isn't the problem? What if I tell you that you can have photos that are genuine, not photoshopped, that you WANT to post? Photos that celebrate who you are because you are a beautiful creation and inherently have immeasurable value. That's my goal. Every time I pick up a camera, I want the moment and the people in front of my lens to be celebrated and honored, resulting in photos that feel authentic and beautiful to everyone—even yourself.

I'm originally from NW Ohio but currently living and working in the north side of Indianapolis! I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2021 where I studied worship arts, graphic design, and photography. Currently, I'm a full-time in-house filmmaker for Traders Point Christian Church where I get the privilege of capturing live events and telling stories through testimonies and creative projects.

I'm a biiiig fan of hobbies and I might have a few too many (we'll blame it on my ADHD). Besides doing film and photography work, I love line dancing, attending obscene amounts of concerts annually, shamelessly playing Fortnite, and watching social experiment reality TV.
